Prindle, Roberta Ann (Marriage – 12 October 1974)

Miss Roberta Ann Prindle and Jeffrey R. Scholze exchanged marriage vows at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Humbird on Saturday, October 12, before the Rev. Otis Botts. A reception was held later at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prindle, Humbird. The groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Scholze, are also of Humbird.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a princess style gown of ivory crepe accented with matching border lace and complimented by a satin sash at the raised waistline. Her shoulder length veil was held by a Juliet headpiece. An arrangement of asters and mums formed her bouquet.

Linda Dahnert of Richfield, Mn., cousin of the bride, was her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Gwen Gearing, and Sandy Scholze, sister of the groom. Their avocado green empire-waist gowns with contrasting beige lace were fashioned with sheer, quarter-length sleeves. Each carried a large orange mum.

Attending the groom were James R. Scholze as bestman, and Allan Printz, and Jim Kerkuliet as groomsmen. Ralph Prindle, and Joseph Scholze served as ushers.

Alton Duerkop sang “Annie’s Song,” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”

Following her high school graduation, the new Mrs. Scholze studied for a year at the Eau Claire Technical Institute. Her husband has an associate degree in accounting from the same school and is employed as a credit collector for an Eau Claire firm.

They are living in Eau Claire.
