Krueger, Dennis O. (25 SEP 1943 - 11 JAN 2018)

Dennis O. Krueger, age 74, of Curtiss, passed away Jan. 11, 2018.

Dennis was born Sept. 25, 1943, to Walter and Catherine (Schiffler) Krueger in Curtiss.


He farmed the family farm and worked at Harmony Country Coop from 1968 until his retirement. He enjoyed working with the farming community.

He also enjoyed traveling, being with family, bird watching, gardening, card playing, hunting and fishing.

He was married in 1963 to Carol Kayhart. They had three children, Kathy (Richard) Boneske, Kip (Catherine) Krueger and Kim (Leah) Krueger. They later divorced in 1982. He married Sharon (Sherry) Weber in 1991.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Sherry; his three children; one step-son, David (Heather) Weber; three sisters, Arlene Lulloff of Germantown, Geraldine Leffel of Pickerel and Pam (Larry) Bunkelman of Summerfield, Fla.; six grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Catherine Krueger; brother, Fred Krueger; and sister, Patricia Leffel.

A service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Curtiss on Saturday, Jan. 20. Visitation will be from 9 - 11 a.m. with the service at 11 a.m.

Chippewa Valley Cremation Services is assisting the family.
