Aspseter, Jeanette Deloris (Birdsill) (13 AUG 1932 - 14 OCT 2017)

Jeanette Deloris Aspseter, 85, of Exeland, died on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at Heritage Lakeside Convalescent Center in Rice Lake.

Jeanette was born in Elroy on Aug. 13, 1932; a daughter of Luke and Jean (Erockivich) Birdsill.
On July 16, 1952 she married Clayton Eugene Aspseter in Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Superior.

She spent many years working in the medical field from dental offices to eye clinics. She loved shopping and shoes and enjoyed many years of traveling and spending winters in Florida.
Jeanette loved her grandchildren, reading and playing the organ.

She was a member of Exeland United Methodist Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, Clayton; her son, Clayton A. Aspseter (Claire Brandl); her daughter, Debra (Robby) Westfall; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her sister Nancy (Tom) Jandrt of Rice Lake and her brother, Don (Elvera) Birdsill of Birchwood.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 20 at the United Methodist Church in Exeland, with Rev. Mark A. Bartlett officiating.

Jeanette was to be buried in Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Spooner on Monday, Oct. 23.
