Himes, M-S George L. (Military Note -1974)
M-S George L. Hines, son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Himes of Rt. 1 Owen, has graduated
from the Strategic Air Command’s non-commissioned office academy at Barksdale
AFB, La.
Sgt. Himes, who received advanced military leadership and management training,
is a space systems equipment operator instructor at Offutt AFB, Neb.
A 1955 graduate of Owen High School, the sergeant received a Bachelor of Science
degree in 1973 from the University of Southern Mississippi.
His wife, Valery, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elton J. Fritz, of Rt. 2 Owen.
