Bombach, Joyce E. (30 NOV 1926 – 17 DEC 2017)

Willard - JOYCE E. BOMBACH, age 91, of Willard, peacefully passed away at Neillsville Care and Rehab on Sunday, December 17, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Cuddie Funeral Home, in Greenwood. Rev. Brian Campbell will officiate and burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ann and Todd Graski, Cheryl Noah, Marcus Noah, Kourtney and Josh Groshek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, on Thursday, from 9:30am until time of service.

Joyce Elaine Beyreis was born on November 30, 1926 in Unity, WI, the daughter of Ernest and Blanche (Kayhart) Beyreis. She was raised in Clark County and attended several country schools in the Unity, Spencer and Loyal areas. Joyce worked at Wepfer Pharmacy in Loyal for a year and a half, and then at the Owen Cafe and later worked at a restaurant in Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Elmer Bombach on March 9, 1946 in Neillsville. They farmed in Willard from 1946 until retiring in 1977. She resided at her home in Willard until entering the Neillsville Care and Rehab in October 2017.

She had many interests, but especially enjoyed baking for family and friends, snowmobiling, ice fishing, squirrel hunting, dancing and polka music.

Joyce is survived by one sister: Gale Zorman of Spencer; her foster son: Allan (Brenda) Noah of Greenwood; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter: Dorothy Bombach on August 20, 1956 from a bicycle accident; her husband: Elmer on June 20, 1989; two sisters: Phyllis Loos, Shirley Nevala; one brother: Verlyn Beyreis; three brothers-in-law: Clem Loos, Albert Zorman and Ray Nevala; one nephew: Keith Beyreis; and her friend: Peter Sanders.
