(Death date from Legacy.com obit)

Services were held recently at Krause Funeral Home, Milwaukee, for Jacqueline Wardesky, 70, Milwaukee, formerly of Loyal.

Jacqueline Ruth Davel was born on April 2, 1947, in Loyal, to Bernard and Katherine (nee DeYoung) Davel. She attended St. Anthony Catholic School through eighth grade and graduated from Loyal High School in 1965. After graduation, she moved to Milwaukee and started her employment at Crown Cork and Seal, retiring after 30 years. Jackie married the love of her life, Eugene “Geno” Wardesky, on Sept. 28, 1991, and together they enjoyed traveling and collecting Green Bay Packers memorabilia. She had many interests, but her best times were spent with her loved ones. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid Packer fan, and had an extensive bottle opener collection. She enjoyed all types of puzzles, especially crosswords, liked to play cards and cribbage, and shared many good times with her friends at The Farmhouse.

She is survived by two daughters: Susan Cimbalnik and Debbie (Aaron Sanders) Hayden; two sons, Scott (Abby) Wittenberg and Steve (Cindy) Wittenberg; 13 grandchildren; two sisters: Sally Bauer and Marcy (Donny) Peters; two brothers: Dan Davel and Tom Davel: three sisters-in-law: Nancy Brown, Geri Schwan and Sandi (Earl) Primley; two brothers-in-law: Rob Gruenberg and Harry Wardesky; and numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, in 2007; her parents, Bernard and Katherine Davel; her sister, Mary Ann Wehrman; five brothers: Jerome Davel, Kenneth Davel, Richard Davel, Timothy Davel and Patrick Davel; a sister-in-law, Joan Johnson; and four brothers-in-law: Allan Wehrman, Alfred “Dick” Hoeck, Sylvester “Bubs” Bauer and Lester Wardesky.
