Pabich, Betty (8 DEC 1929 – 6 NOV 2017)

Betty Pabich, 87, originally of York Township and Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away on Nov. 6, 2017, in Austin, Texas. Betty Lou Kronberger was born on Dec. 8, 1929, in York Township, Clark County, the daughter of Leo and Lulu (nee Benedict) Kronberger. She received her education at Lincoln Grade School and Loyal High School. On Sept. 26, 1946, she married George Pabich in Withee. After their marriage, they managed a farm and several businesses in the Greenwood area. In 1952, they moved to Texas, initially to McAllen and then later to Austin.


Those surviving include three children; Greg (Mitzi) Pabich, Charlotte (Bob) Nix and Tim Pabich; a sister, Jean Lavey, Nekoosa; three sisters-in-law, Helen Kronberger, Marshfield, Ruth Kronberger, Neillsville and Mary Kronberger, Wisconsin Rapids; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 23, 2007; her parents; three brothers, Ivan Kronberger, Wayne Kronberger and Jerry Kronberger; one sister, Dorothy Prior; two brothers-in-law, Bob Prior and Norbert Lavey; and one infant son, Rodney.
