Ahomaki, Jacob E. (21 APR 1898 – 08 AUG 1970)

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owen for Jacob E. Ahomaki, 72, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

The Reverend Hilding Peterson, pastor of the United Church of Christ, officiated, and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Ahomaki was born April 21, 1898 in Finland. He came to the United States in 1915 and settled in the Withee area. He entered the Army during World War I and served with the 32nd Division for 13 years. Later he was employed at Milwaukee and Waukegan, Illinois. During World War II he again served with the 32nd Division.

Mr. Ahomaki was a single man. Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Martha Schallock of Marshfield, and a half-brother, Martin Ryona of Withee.

He was preceded in death by a half-sister.
