Drummond, James B. (1931? - 2017?)

James B. Drummond, 86, of Oak Brook, Ill., served in the Army during the Korean War as a proud member of the Big Red One. He was a University of Illinois graduate and a longtime Sears and Roebuck executive.

James was a beloved husband of the late Kathleen nee Cruise, for 41 years; loving father of Peggy (Tom Bialas) Drummond, Joan (Mark) Olson, Mary Pat Drummond, James (Liz) Drummond, Carrie (Eric McGlinchey) Drummond and the late Maureen Drummond-Ashlock; cherished grandfather of Casey (Sarah), Tristan, Erin, Andy, Jack, Tommy, Matthew, Ryan, Quinn, Callum and Charlotte; brother of Grant (Shirley), Keith (Vivienne) and the late Gwendolyn, Jean, Bruce and Patrick; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Visitation Church, 779 S. York Rd., Elmhurst, Ill. from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for Misercordia, 6300 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, IL 60660.
