Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sweda had their son baptized Sunday, March 22, 1970 by Rev. James Jorgesen of the Orthodox Congregation. They named the baby Mathew Joseph. Sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sweda. The dinner followed the baptism. Dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sweda, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Swiegala Sr. and Joe Swiegala Jr. of Catawba, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lachby, also of Catawba. The dinner was held at the Harry Sweda home.
