The Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church will be holding its annual Mission Celebration on Saturday, September 23, at the church.

Several visiting missionaries will display interesting information about their organization and the role they play in it. Doors open at 5 p.m. for visiting and interaction time, followed by a light dinner at 6:30 p.m. and a keynote address at 7:30 p.m.

Mark Rieland, director of Oak Forest Center, in Fredric, WI, will be presenting the keynote address Saturday night and another message/sermon on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Rieland spent 37 years in the business world, working in human resourced, marketing, and sales management. In 1997, he joined the board of directors for Forest Springs Camp and Conference Center (formerly known as Camp Forest Spring).

While attending a board meeting in Oak Forest Center (an affiliate ministry of Forest Springs) in 2015, he felt the call from the Lord to become director of Oak Forest Center and began in this new position on May 1, 2016.

Mark and his wife Lou, have been married for 40 years. They have two sons, John and Eric, and six grandchildren.

Anyone interested in learning more about the life of a missionary is invited to attend a question and answer session held Sunday, September 24 at 9:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Abbotsford. This is open to the public.
