Vanderwyst (Birthdays – 3 August 1974)

Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Vanderwyst returned home last week from a visit with their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sholly and children, in Virginia Beach, Va. In Virginia, they picked up their daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Mrs. Ralph Vanderwyst and daughter, Nancy, who flew to the U. S. from their home in Berlin, Germany.

Enroute home to Granton, Mr. and Mrs. Vanderwyst and their daughter-ion-law and granddaughter traveled to Alpena, Mi., where they visited with the Harold Vanderwyst family.

A surprise party Saturday at the LaVern Vanderwyst home honored Mrs. Ralph Vanderwyst and Nancy, who are spending a couple week’s there. Guests included: Mr. and Mrs. William Wolf, Mrs. Rita Vanderwyst and son, Mark, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Schupp and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wernberg and family, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. John Barth, and Mr. and Mrs. James Barth, Chili; Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Quicker, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Kademan, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Kademan and daughter, Eau Claire; Sheila and Kevin Kademan, Chippewa Falls; and Dr. and Mrs. Victor Tharp, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Barth and son, Tommy, Roland Quicker, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Vanderwyst and family, Granton.
