Mrs. George Wartolec entertained St. Mary's Circle in Stanley, Wis. Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Jennie Fijalkiewicz won the door prize.

Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Backstrom of Eau Claire, and Sister Jeanne and Sister Francine were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hanford Anderson after the Thorp vs. Fall Creek basketball game Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Borton and Donna, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Maier, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sterling of Eau Claire, M. and Mrs. Ed Maier, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sonnentag and daughter Jean Grajkowski, Mr. and Mrs. Norm Maier and daughters Sue and Sharon of Milwaukee, Jack Maier and Miss Myrna Sterberg of Minneapolis helped John Maier Sr. celebrate his seventy-sixth birthday on Sunday.

Mrs. Peter Slowiak and Mrs. Joseph Staron visited Mrs. George Wartolec. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Markowski also were visitors.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Graham from Holman, Mrs. Frazee of Stanley visited their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Cook, on Saturday.

Mrs. Louis Kaczor and Mrs. Hazel Weinberger and Miss Emily Quelle spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Layton Asselin.
