Martin Rosella A. (5 September 1922 – 19 July 2017)

Rosella Martin, age 94, of Neillsville, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.

Rosella Martin was born in Raeville, NE, on Sept. 5, 1922, to Nicholas and Katherine Henn. She married Robert John Martin Dec. 17, 1945. They continued both families’ traditions by going into farming, both in Nebraska and when moving to Wisconsin in 1958.

Rose is preceded in death by both parents, nine siblings, husband Robert, Twin sons, Mark and Paul, and grandson Jesse.

She is survived by her children Linda (James) Dalebroux of Brookfield, Robert (Wendy) Martin of Chili, John (Joan) Martin of Chili, Gerald (Patricia) Martin of Marshfield, Diane (Jeff Cartier) Martin of Milwaukee, and Ronald (Katie) Martin of Hudson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Rose will be held at 11 a.m., Monday July 24, 2017, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Memorial Medical Center Foundation, 216 Sunset Place, Neillsville, WI 54456.
