Freezy, Alan G. (26 June 1937 – 14 July 2017) With Flag

Alan G. Freezy, 80, passed away peacefully under hospice care Friday, July 14, 2017, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wi. He was born June 26, 1937, in Granton, Clark County, Wisconsin, son of George and Erna (Hagen) Freezy. Alan served in the U. S. Army from October 1954 – October 1957, and was honorably discharged as a Korean War Veteran. He will be dearly missed by all his loving family and friends.

Alan is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer and Julie, three sisters, Petrine “Pat” (Bob) Parks, of Huntley, IL, Nellie (Jim) Eckland of McHenry, IL, and Laynie (Chuck) Easter of Huntley, IL; three brothers: Ted (Karen) Freezy of Spencer, Walter Lueck, Jr. of Huntley, IL, and Brad (Judy) Lueck of Fountain, CO, and brother-in-law, Roger Ziller of Huntley, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alan was preceded in death by his father, George Freezy; his mother and step-father, Erna and Walter Lueck, Sr.; a son, Jesse; four sisters, Eileen Freezy, Maureen (Walter) Wirkuty, Pauline (Fred) Timm, and Georgia Ziller; and a brother, Dennis Freezy.

Per Alan’s wishes, no services will be held. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
