Kacena, Anna Auguste Edith (Voigt) Schwie (16 APR1942 - 6 JUL 2017)
Anna Auguste Edith Kacena, 75, Prentice, died in the Flambeau Hospital in Park
Falls on Thursday, July 6, 2017.
She was born on April 16, 1942, in Cable, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ernst and
Auguste Voigt. She was married to William Clifford Schwie Sr. and he preceded
her in death. She was later married to Robert Kacena and he preceded her in
death.
She attended the Trinity Lutheran Church in Prentice in earlier years. She
served on the Board of the Halleluia House of Hope Board of Lone Rock,
Wisconsin. In her free time she enjoyed watching television, crocheting,
canning, and in earlier years playing the guitar.
She is survived by five children, William (Jeryl) Schwie Jr., Lone Rock, WI,
Patricia (Chris Charles) Foytik, Chippewa Falls, WI, Clifford Ernst (Renee)
Schwie, Prentice, Barbara (Mike) Payne, Jefferson, WI, and Katherine (Brent)
Mindock, Prentice; by three step-children, Joelene Kacena, and Jennifer Kacena,
both of Alaska, and Robert Kacena Jr; by 18 grandchildren and by numerous great
grandchildren; and by two brothers, Edward Voigt, Rice Lake, WI and Emanuel
(Margie) Voigt, Trout Creek, MI.
She is preceded in death by her husbands; by three sisters, Clara, Elsie, and
Marie; and by four brothers, August, Walter, Ernest, and Al.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 14, at the Heindl
Funeral Home in Prentice with Pastor Terry Sellers of the Word of Life Family
Church officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of
services.
