Beidel, Dianne M. (Pipkorn) (5 FEB 1958 - 4 JUL 2017)

Dianne M. Beidel, age 59, of Colby, passed away on July 4, 2017 from lung cancer, surrounded by her loving family at her residence under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Colby. Father Peter Manickam will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church. A celebration of life get together will be held at Gini’s 10-K Whine and Dine, W2965 US-10, Granton, WI from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday after the services.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Colby is entrusted with the arrangements.

Dianne (Pipkorn) Beidel was born on February 5, 1958 the daughter of Eugene and Darlene (Ledger) Pipkorn in Marshfield. She was raised on a farm in Unity, WI. She graduated from Loyal Public High School in 1976. Dianne worked at restaurants, and Saint Joseph’s Hospital in the admitting department. In 1978 she relocated to the Chicago area and spent 8 years working for the American Hotel Register Company. She soaked up the city culture, attending plays, concerts, and sporting events including horse racing at Arlington Park. She attended the College of DuPage. In 1987, she moved back to this area and in May of 1988 she started working for Land O’ Lakes in Spencer and had been there for 29 years. Thank you Land O’ Lakes for the opportunity. In 1988 she met Jeff Beidel (JB) of Spencer and on August 13, 1993 they married in Sturgis, SD during bike week.

Dianne was well traveled. She loved riding motorcycle, reading, movies, music, swimming, walking and campfires, but most of all she loved to laugh. She was a very good cook and enjoyed feeding people.

Dianne is survived by her mother: Darlene Pipkorn, husband: Jeff, sisters: Barb (Stephen) Pankratz, Cheryl (Rolf) Johansson, Gini (Dave) Johansson, Laura (Steve) Kauth, Tammy (Kevin) Smith, her mother-in-law: Mary Beidel and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father: Eugene Pipkorn, 3 brothers: John, Andy, and Brian Pipkorn and both sets of grandparents.
