Mrs. Harry Hansen received word Thursday evening of the death of her father, Clarence Vandeberg, Springfield, Oregon, of a heart attack. Mrs. Hansen left via plane on Saturday. Burial was made at Springfield, Oregon on Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Herbert Haire and Mrs. Ella Schneider returned home from Minneapolis on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Myron Fritsch and their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Johnson of Milwaukee, enjoyed a vacation and camping trip to Peninsula State Park in Door County a few days last weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. David Stenstrom of Tucson, Arizona are moving to Owen and are visiting the home of his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Jensen, until they find living quarters.

Dr. and Mrs. David Thierl and daughter have returned to their home in Paris, Ill., after spending two and one-half weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rasmussen, and sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ruggles and family.

Over the weekend Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Ruggles visited the home of Arnold Rasmussen and Robby, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Knittle in Minneapolis.

2nd Lt. and Mrs. Steven Heuer, who have been stationed in Missouri, are spending a four week leave at the home of relatives in the area.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lange of Dubuque, Iowa, visited her brothers, Otto, William and Ed Engel a few days the past week.

Mrs. Sigurd Sorensen visited her sister, Mrs. Uno Bakke, a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital, who underwent surgery on Thursday. Her friends will be glad to read that she is doing nicely.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bruchert and family and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blunck left Friday evening for Minneapolis, where they enjoyed a visit with relatives over the weekend, and the men attended the Twins-Oakland baseball game on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Richter celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary Saturday evening with a party at Bruchert's Midway Bar.

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Auberg of Eau Claire visited the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Paulsen, on Sunday.
