Goetsch, Elroy E. (12 MAR 1912 - 16 JUN 2006)

Elroy E. Goetsch, 94, Wausau, died Friday June 16, 2006 at his home.

He was born March 12, 1912 in Wausau, son of the late Otto C. and Bertha (Luedtke) Goetsch. On October 17, 1936 he married Ruth Goodermote in Memoninee, Michigan. She preceded him in death in 1998. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a painter.

Survivors include four daughters, Karen (Gurdon) McCrossen, Broken Arrow, Okla., Joann (Don) Bender, Madison, Pamela (Dan) McAllister, Delafield, Debra (Eric) Crew, Anaheim Hills, Calif., three sons, Ron (Karen) Goetsch, Racine, Rollin (Nancy) Goetsch, Orange, Calif., Al Goetsch, Anaheim, Calif., 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one brother, Norm Goetsch, Vancouver, Wash., two sisters, Vila (Harvey) Borth, Wausau, Valera Jopke, Madison.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday June 24, 2006 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Entombment will be in Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.

Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
