Holroyd, Sandra J. (29 DEC 1948 – 16 MAY 2017)

Sandra (Sandy) Jean (Gaffney) Holroyd, 68, of Marshfield passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 16th, 2017.

Sandy was born in Neillsville WI on December 29, 1948. She devoted her years to caring for others and making all who knew her smile. Her love to travel took her to many beautiful places and on many adventures. She greatly enjoyed her casino runs and the game of chance on the lottery, which she was very good at.

Sandy is survived by her son and amazing caregiver Bill (William) Holroyd of Marshfield; sisters: Judy (Robert) Peterson of Sheboygan Falls and Sharon (Larry) Boushon of Oak Creek, Deb (Gary) Gaffney of Medford; two grandchildren: Zayne Holroyd of Marshfield and Alyxandria Holroyd of Marshfield; nieces: Laura (Boushon) Binder of Marshfield, Stacy Boushon of Oak Creek, Jodi (Peterson) Brugoto of Sheboygan Falls, Carrie (Gaffney) Doering of Marshfield, Jenny Gaffney of Marshfield; nephews: Adam Boushon of Auburndale, Michael Peterson of Sheboygan Falls, Shawn Gaffney of Marshfield, Christopher Gaffney of Marshfield; along with several grand nieces and nephews for whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Doris Gaffney, brothers James Gaffney and Gary Gaffney and one sister Kathleen (Gaffney, Boushon) Joyce.

A private service for immediate family will be held at a later date.

We would like to thank all those who took the time to appreciate our Sandy and show her the love and compassion that she so deserved. Your kindness did not go unnoticed and will be remembered forever in our hearts.
