Kilty, Kay (7 JUL 1972)

Wedding vows were repeated before the Rev. Rash at St. Luke's Church, South Green Grove, Unity (Clark Co.), Wisconsin on July 7, 1972 at 8:00, between Miss Kay Kilty, Colby, Wisconsin and DeWayne Sheets, Unity.

The bride, daughter of Mrs. Lorrain Kilty, and the late Glenn Kilty, Colby, wore a gown of embroidered schiffli nylon organza with Venetian lace and yellow satin ribbon. Her bouffant veil fell from a Juliet cap of Venetian lace. She carried a cascade of yellow roses with white carnations.

Her attendants, Dawn Zrutskie, Colby, Wisconsin, who was the maid of honor, and Diane Koffarnus, Curtiss, Wisconsin, wore gowns of yellow flowered flocked nylon in the Edwardian style. Each girl wore a cluster of lowers in their hair.

The miniature bridesmaids, Brenda Kilty, Unity, wore a dress identical to the bridesmaids, but in all white, and carried a basket of green roses, white carnations and lilies of the valley.

The groom, who is the son of Mrs. Ione Sheets, Unity, Wisconsin, and John Sheets, Curtiss, Wisconsin, chose Denny Witt, Unity, as his best man. Other attendants to the groom were Randy Kilty, Colby, brother of the bride, and Mike Sheets, Unity, brother of the groom. Ring bearer was Brian Kilty, Unity.

Debby Hoernke sang "We've Only Just Begun" and "Each for Each Other" was sang by Mr. Edward Watchendonk.

A wedding dance and reception were held at the Unity Memorial Hall, Unity.

The groom is a graduate of Loyal High School and is employed at the LLC Conroth Company.
