Spencer

Fay Damon was united in marriage to Miss Martha Crebb formerly of Spencer but at the time living in Beloit. They were married July 14 at Rockford, Illinois, afterwards spending a few days in Princeton and then coming to the home of his parents in Spencer. The young people expect to make their future home in Wausau.

Mrs. Agnes Pickett and daughter Faith returned from Kankauna Saturday.

Mrs. Schroeder of Vesper came Saturday to visit at the home of Mrs. A. I. Boock.

Mrs. E. C. Utter and children left Thursday for Trempealeau to visit relatives and friends.

Mrs. Finch of Stevens Point is the guest of her sister, Mrs. J. Gardiner.

Walter Raabe spent a few days in Park Falls last week returning Saturday with his brother Henry.

Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kuehnau of Unity accompanied by Mrs. S. Damon and Miss Maud Welch autoed to Greenwood Sunday.

A newspaper is about to be published In Spencer. The presses are installed in the building formerly occupied by the Richardson millinery stock.
