Lenhard, John K. (21 DEC 1961 - 24 MAR 2017)

John K. Lenhard, 55, Wausau died Friday, March 24, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born December 21, 1961 in Wausau, son of the late LaVerne and Alice (Ronek) Lenhard. On May 1, 1993 he married Deborah Nowacki at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wausau. She survives.

John worked at Menards in Wausau. Some of his favorite pastimes included fixing and repairing old radios, small engine repairs, attending flea markets, playing with his puppies at home and spoiling his granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Lenhard, Wausau, his children, Sydney (fiancé Casey Wiedenhoeft) Lenhard, Wausau, Jordyn (Richard Benaszeski) Lenhard, Wausau, one son Jesse Lenhard, Wausau and his granddaughter, Aaliyah Benaszezski, one sister, Diane (Jim) Brill, Florida, his mother and father-in-law, Susan and Dennis Nowacki, Athens, His In-Laws, Ron (Kory) Nowacki, Athens, Linda (David) Ziegler, Wausau, Brian (Char) Nowacki, Athens, Tom (Carrie) Nowacki, Athens and Cindy (Todd Tilch) Kearns, Wausau, one god daughter, Allie DeLonay and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in John's name. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Wausau Fire Department, especially the Paramedics, the Wausau Police Department and the Aspirus Wausau Hospital for all their efforts they put forth to care for John during his time of need. We thank you all!
