Hansen, Harold (9 FEB 1908 – 22 JAN 1972)

Harold Hansen, 63, route 2, Spencer, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Monday at the Jasperson Funeral Home in Spencer. The Rev. Lloyd L. McCormick, pastor of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Chili, officiated, and burial was made in the Veefkind Cemetery. Pallbearers were Albert Chamberlain, Charles Vanderhoof, Lawrence Heckel, Delmar Sternitzky, William Rahm, and Albert Oelrich. Mrs. Norman Kasper sang "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Precious Lord, Take My Hand," accompanied by Mrs. Darrell Roder at the organ.

Mr. Hansen was born in Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) on February 9, 1908, and received his education in ara schools. He was married to Mildred Warren in Milwaukee on July 6, 1928. He is survived by his wife. After their marriage they lived in Milwaukee until 1940, when they moved to Gilman. They moved to a farm near Spencer in 1945.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Nancy) Schilling, Chili, and Mrs. Richard (Ruth Ann) Rahm, Milwaukee; three sons, Raymond, Abbotsford; Allen, Orlando, Florida; and Donald, Unity; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Walter, Chattahoochee, ; and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Hardey, Wauwatosa, and Mrs. Violet Hartel, Ladysmith. He was preceded in death by a sister.
