Ingersoll, Harold L. (22 AUG 1933 - 17 MAR 2017)

Harold L. Ingersoll, age 83, of Curtiss, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center in Owen.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford.

Harry was born on August 22, 1933, the son of Kenneth and Edith (Dombrove) Ingersoll, Sr. in Clark County. He attended Abbotsford Schools. Harry was united in marriage to Kathryn "Sue" Klimeck on January 17, 1959, in Stetsonville. They later divorced.

Harry's passion was to fix things. He farmed, worked at Abby Wrecking for many years, Johnson Garage and later at Weathershield in Medford. Harry also had a couple of salvage yards. He was well known around the entire area and also for his unique laugh. Harry was a singer, prankster, comedian and one-of-a-kind B.S.er.

Harry is survived by four sons: Ronald Ingersoll of Abbotsford, Daniel Ingersoll of Medford, Bradley (Kathy) Ingersoll of Stanley and Brian (Samantha) Ingersoll of Medford; a daughter,
Karen (Wayne) Tischendorf of Ogema; daughter-in-law, Sandra Ingersoll of Colby; son-in-law, Chuck Strey of Loyal; 19 grandchildren: Nicole, Jeremy, Justin, Tyler, Travis, Stacey, Chris, Kyle, Jade, Cameron, Kara, Brandon, Dominique, Zak, Haley, Brady, Gage, Carsen and Gracie; 11 great-grandchildren and a very close nephew, Kelly Ingersoll.

He is further survived by three brothers: Kenneth Ingersoll, Jr. of Colby, Marv Ingersoll of Adams-Friendship and Neil Ingersoll of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Galen Ingersoll, a daughter, Laurie Strey; a grandson, Jesse Ingersoll; five siblings: Gladys (Orville) Tichy, Donald "Butch" (Zora) Ingersoll, Jannette Johnson, Arlene (Byron) Leichtman and Robert "Pookie" (Mutzie) Ingersoll.
