Westrich, Enola Rose (Meyer) (17 OCT 1931 - 12 FEB 2014)

Enola Rose Westrich, age 82, of N4763 2nd Ave., Medford, passed away at Kennedy Park Nursing and Rehab Center, Schofield, WI, on Wednesday, February 12, 2014.

Graveside service was at Perkinstown Community Cemetery, Perkinstown, at 11:00 A.M., on February 14. Don King will officiate.

Pallbearers were Gary Westrich, Gary Westrich Jr., Russell Westrich, Mark Anderson, Jon Rothmeier, Jerry Neubauer, Jim Neubauer.

Visitation will follow the graveside service there was a gathering at 11:30 a.m. at P-Town Saloon and Grill, Perkinstown.

Enola was born on October 17, 1931 in Perkinstown, to William Ernest and Ruby Alberta (Redwine) Meyer. She attended Roosevelt School in Perkinstown, WI.

She married Donald H. Westrich, October 23rd, 1948 at Perkinstown Community Church, Perkinstown and they divorced in 1965.

Lived most of her life in Perkinstown, except her married years were in the Medford area. Lived on a Hobby farm for a while. Homemaker most of her life and employed in the 80s at Zastrow Care Center, Gilman and in the 90s at Hurd Millwork, Medford. She went camping and fishing a lot in her younger years and enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, crochet, crosswords, her kitties, and chocolate.

Enola is survived by her children, Linda (Jim Heine) Westrich of Brooksville, FL; Gary (Patty) Westrich of Medford, WI; Kim (Beth) Westrich of Medford, WI; Jeanette (John) Vogt of Tomahawk, WI; Julie (Robin) Hartzell of Cadott, WI; Carol (Mark) Anderson of Weston, WI; Jason Westrich of Wausau, WI; Russell (Sherri Wright) Westrich of Jump River, WI; 18 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by siblings, Raymond “Bud” Meyer of Medford, WI; Irma Howsden of Owen, WI; Shirley Meyer of Medford, WI; Esther (Gerald “Jerry”) Clarkson of Woodruff, WI; Donald (Lana) Meyer of Holcombe, WI; Lester (Mary) Meyer of Holcombe, WI.

Enola is predeceased by her parents, William Ernest and Ruby Alberta (Redwine) Meyer.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
