Wesolowski, Thomas J. (8 SEP 1941 - 25 APR 2015)

Thomas J. Wesolowski, 73, Edgar, died Saturday April 25, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield.

He was born September 8, 1941, in Wausau, son of the late Stanley Sr. and Rose (Feltzkowski) Wesolowski. On September 29, 1962, he married Merceda Lipinski at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. She survives.

Thomas attended Technical College in Wausau and worked as a machinist in Milwaukee prior to farming. He then farmed in the town of Cassel until the time of his retirement. Among his favorite pastimes were, playing sheepshead, traveling, snowmobiling and cheering his favorite Wisconsin teams, the Packers, Brewers and Badgers.

Survivors include his wife, Merceda, four children, Lori (Jeffrey) Urmanski, Chris Wesolowski, Sara (Paul) Weinkauf and Renee (Corey) Mueller, all of Edgar, grandchildren, Dana (Karlan) Dietsche, Josh (Sarah) Urmanski, Lexie (Eric) Gajewski, Eric (Megan) Wesolowski, Tanya Wesolowski, Samantha (friend, Dayle) Wesolowski, Nick Weinkauf, Courtney Mueller and Caleb Mueller; six great grandchildren, Kaylin, Claire, Sawyer, Kashton, Harper and Liam; one brother, John (Pat) Wesolowski, Wausau, 2 sisters, Rosemary (Don) VerBrugge, Tenn., Ellie (Jake) Dahm, Wausau; one sister-in-law, Carol Wesolowski.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Wesolowski Jr. and a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Nancy Wesolowski.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Weds. April 29, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel. Rev. Robert Streveler will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
