Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Bobb spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Thiel, at Owen.

Mrs. Urban visited at the home of Mrs. Sophie Sumiec Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Kokaly spent the weekend visiting friends and relatives in Chicago, Milton Junction and Madison.

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Soeller spent Sunday at Greenwood at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Geisler, and they also were at the Corn Festival in Loyal.

Those who visited the Edmund Cook home during he were were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Mickle from Milwaukee, Mary Pagel and Ed Smith.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Shuk and family, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Smith and family were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith inn honor oof Mrs. Harry Smith's birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zukowski came back from Iron River, where they have been spending their vacation.

Mrs. Lucy Manicki and daughter Sandra, returned to Hartland after spending a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Polnaszek, and also attended the Bogumill reunion.

Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin visited the Orville Asselin home in Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Casey Kubiszowski, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Vitort and family drove to St. Paul Sunday, where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Tom Morin and family, and attended the Minnesota State Fair.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Prokopinski are spending their vacation in New York, Niagara Falls, then into Canada, Detroit, Michigan, then back home.

Mr. and Mrs. Pat Soderberg and daughter Carol spent a few days in Chicago the past wweek. Carol remained in Melrose Park, Illinois, where she will be teaching this coming year.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Karnopp and daughter Lynn were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Heber and Mr. and Mrs. Ulysses Cain of Loyal. They also attended the Loyal Corn Festival in the afternoon. Miss Lynn Karnopp remained in Loyal, where she will be teaching.

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Plansky Jr., Kathy and David spent Sunday at the Richard Plansky home to celebrated Kathy and Richard Plansky's birthdays.

Mr. Carl Wyczawski of New Ulm, Minn., spent Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wyczawski in Thorp. He also visited at the home of Val Wyczawski.

Mrs. Mike Freldman and daughter Janel of De Pere visited with Mr. and Mrs. Rich Boie and family on Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Chester Johnson left Tuesday from Eau Claire for a three week trip through the Scandinavian countries.

John Plansky of New Brighton, Minn. spent the weekend at his home here.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Klak of Chicago, Ill., visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wyczawski on Thursday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Ciolkosz and family of Chippewa Falls spent the weekend at the Ruth Bonk home.

Miss Gwen Anderson had dinner with the Mr. and Mrs. Ray Munson of Withee, Friday evening, honoring brother Arthur, who is home on vacation from Africa. The Brother's mother, sister and cousin were there, along with Mr. Munson's parents.

Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Nevala visited Arnold Asplund of Colby at the Stanley Memorial Hospital on Sunday.
