Baughman, Wendy Z. (19 SEP 1964 - 28 OCT 2016)

Wendy Z. Baughman, age 52, of Medford, passed away on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at home with the care of Hope Hospice, her partner of 14 years, Keith Williams and close family by her side.

Wendy had been battling lung cancer, which spread to her liver causing liver failure. Wendy was born on September 19, 1964.

Wendy is survived by her parents, Clarence Fawley and Barbara (Ray) Baughman; siblings, Scot (Diane) Fawley of Conrath, Tod Fawley of Wausau, Lisa Fawley (Ewer-Hutchings) of Medford and Jason Fawley of Wausau.

Wendy was the fourth child born, with five siblings. The oldest, Randy J. Fawley, passed away at the age of 52, on Oct. 7, 2011. She attended Flambeau schools and in 1980 she married Rod Rossman, of Ill.

Wendy had three children, Jacob (Misty) Rossman, Noell (Tom) Rossman-Ryder and Megan (Al James) Kettler-Berman.

She eventually divorced and married Dean (Randy) Baughman years later. Wendy's life was her family. She had five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles all around the area.

Wendy's hobbies included collecting cook books, cooking and baking, crafting, garage sales, camping, decorating the house for all holidays, collecting Harley Davidson clothes and trinkets, going on Harley rides with Keith and her friends and hanging out with friends at the local watering holes. She loved plants and gardening. Wendy had to watch the news every day at 5 p.m., and we all knew not to call or text her at that time. She previously worked at Iron Horse, Ladysmith nursing home as a CNA and Pamida.

She then moved to Medford and worked at Wal-Mart, K-mart, Family Dollar, Abbyland, Kolby Dogs and her final work place was Circle of Faith in Medford. Wendy became best friends with two of her workmates, Donna and Marianna, who were very special to her. Right to the end, she would like to cook or bake goodies to send to work for her friends and Keith. She was a very thoughtful person and if she could help you out in any way she definitely would.

There will be two services taking place for remembering Wendy. The first service will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6 at Trinity Church in Conrath, located west out of Conrath on Hwy. I, across from Clarence Fawley's and Jake (Misty's) house.

There will be pictures to share, family, friends and a meal will be provided. The second service will be a celebration of life for all friends and family to attend on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Bogey’s Bar at 3 p.m., located on Main Street in Medford. Please feel free to bring a dish to pass.
