Pankow, Mary (29 MAY 1895 – 12 MAY 1967)

Funeral services for Mrs. Carl (Mary) Pankow, 71, were conducted at 9:30 Monday morning from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen. Father H.L. Crubel officiated and burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Phillip Lukowicz, Roland and Harold Bingham, Orville Lenzer, Joe Thill and Richard Jorgenson.

Mrs. Pankow passed away Friday, May 12, 1967 of a cerebral hemorrhage at the Havenet Nursing Home, Owen, where she had been a resident since 1965. Born May 29, 1895 in Wisconsin, the former Mary Bingham spent most of her life and the Owen and Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) communities. She received her education in the Withee school system. On January 27, 1938 she was untied in marriage to the late Carl Pankow, who preceded her in death, passing away in 1961.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. John (Isabelle) Lukowkicz of Owen, and Mrs. Violet Thill, Minneapolis, and a brother, Orville Mengel, Owen.

Relatives from away that attended the service were Mrs. volet Thill, Minneapolis; Father Jerome Kunen, Fort Atkinson; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Probst, New Auburn; Mrs. Wm. Morios, Fort Atkinson; Mr. and Mrs. Roland Bingham, Bowie, Maryland; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bingham, Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. Orville Lenzer, Waukesha; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thill, White Bear Lake, Minnesota; Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Lukowicz, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jorgenson, Milwaukee.
