Oligney, Delores (28 February 1925 – 10 October 2016)

Delores Oligney, 91, of Black River Falls passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at Atrium Post-Acute Care in Black River Falls. Deloris was born Feb. 28, 1925, the daughter of Harry and Bessie (Schroder) Nibble. She married Maynard Oligney in 1943.

Delores graduated from Humbird High School. She worked in a pizza factory for many years and later the Heritage Manor. She took pleasure in volunteering and spending time with her grandkids and family. Her latest passion was adult coloring books.

Delores is survived by her two sons: Bruce (Doris) Oligney and Dennis (Peggy) Oligney; her daughter, Nancy Hagen; her six brothers, three sisters, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Maynard, a great-great-granddaughter, a great-grandson, and son-in-law, Kris.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at Community Christian Church in Black River Falls. Pastor Ken Jordan officiated. Burial was at East Lawn Cemetery, Alma Center. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Buswell Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
