Globe (10 Apr 1919)

Last Sunday the Lutheran congregation witnessed the examination of five children by Rev. Parisius. These children will be confirmed next Sunday, April 13th. They are Ludolph Parisius, Martin Quast, Albert Manthei, Ella Hoffman and Lyla Boyer.

Mrs. Oswald Pischer and daughter, Viola, of Granton were over-Sunday visitors with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. Mallig. Miss Elsie returned home with her Sunday to spend the week there.

Emil and Willie Kuhl had their lady friends out for an auto ride Sunday.

Mrs. Aug. Dudei, Mrs. W.B. Thoma and Mrs. Marie Hagadorn returned home from Turtle Lake Monday.

Ed. Schwellenbach, wife and children visited with Mrs. Alb. Klueckman Sunday, who is still on the sick list.

Robt. Schlinkert, L. Kalsow and G.E. Grap and their families spent Sunday at the G. Mallig home.

We are all glad to see Miss Mary Worchel back home again. She has spent the past winter at Stanley.

Harvie Grap is the proud owner of a fine driving horse, purchased from W. Forman.

Antonia Schoenherr celebrated her birthday Sunday and many friends were present.

Mr. and Mrs. Alb. Kalsow entertained the Globe storekeeper, L. Prock, and family, Sunday.

Hans Kalsow celebrated his 12th birthday Sunday. All enjoyed a good time.
