East Lynn (3 Apr 1919)

Chas. Guk has been appointed school treasurer in place of Henry Deitrich, who will move to Watertown the fore part of the week.

Ed. Paulson moved his family and household goods Thursday to East Lynn. Welcome to our midst in the land of promise where nobody lives and the dogs bark at strangers.

Louis Grade says the only fault he finds with a milking machine is that the cows are yelling their heads off. They think the contrivance is a calf and every blamed one wants to be its mother.

Emroy Albrecht returned from Appleton Business College last Tuesday in company with the mumps.

Fred Cappelle says the best way to get the start of the income tax collector is to keen on the right side of Father Stork.

Chas. Guk is busy catching pollywogs. He intends to fatten them for fish bait.
