Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Longway of La Crosse were weekend guests at the home of C.W. Geary, A.M. Erickson and Willard Geary.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilke of Sheboygan visited the Clarence Schult and Albert Schultz homes on Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schiszik were Marshfield Clinic callers Wednesday, where Mrs. Schiszik had a cast removed from her leg. She is now able walk with the aid of a cane.

Mrs. Selma Mattila of Owen spent several days the past week at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schultz.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Peissig and family of Grand Fords, N.D. arrived here last week and are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Peissig. Clyde joined his father and other hunters on a hunting trip.

Mrs. Carl Bierbaum of Milwaukee is visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. Anna Lipprandt, while her husband is hunting in the Neillsville area.

The Curtiss Homemakers met at the schoolhouse Tuesday evening, November 15 at 8 p.m. Plans were made for the Christmas party to be held at the schoolhouse Tuesday evening, December 13 at 8. Committee in charge are Carol Krueger, Erna Tellock, Dorothy Geary and Lucille Sommer.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Singstock, who formerly lived south of Curtiss, have moved to the Norman Kobs home on County Trunk N.

Relatives, neighbors and friends visited at the home of Mrs. Carla Lien Wednesday afternoon in observance of her birthday anniversary. The afternoon was spent socially, after which a delicious lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. John Slowinske of Stanley were guests there, too.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bunkelman, Mrs. Larry Anderson and family of Chippewa Falls and Mrs. Elsie Steele of Abbotsford were Sunday callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kobs.
