Schultz, Clyde “Pee Wee” (29 MAR 1928 - 23 SEP 2016)

Clyde “Pee Wee” Schultz, age 88, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. The Reverend Don Bruce will officiate.

Family and friends are welcome from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday September 26, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements.

Clyde was born on March 29, 1928 to George and Emma (Ulrich) Schultz in the Town of Holton, WI. He served in World War II and Japan from 1946 to 1947 in the 387th Glider Infantry.

He married Ethel Kuenzi in 1967 and had a daughter, Cindy Lynn. He remarried again in 1974 to Chloe Nelson and had a son Clyde (C.J.) Jeremy.

He spent 45 years as a professional house painter and the owner of Pee Wee Painters. Clyde was also a logger in the Northwood’s and a bar owner. In his elder years he was an author and a songwriter who accomplished many of his dreams.

Clyde was a member of the Colby VFW Post #2227. He was honored that he was chosen for the Honor Flight last April and considered it a wonderful experience that he will never forget. Clyde enjoyed playing cards, writing books, singing, old movies, deer or elk hunting locally and out west was his biggest passion, and retelling his 88 years of life to people that were near and dear. He will be remembered for his heroism, charming smile and witty attitude.

Clyde is survived by his two children: Clyde Jeremy (Melissa) Schultz of Greenwood and Cindy Lynn (Walter) Koshen of Milton; sister: Tudie Fisher of Abbotsford; grandchildren: John Michael Schultz, Emma Rose Koshen, James Koshen, a sister-in-law: Jean Schultz of Altoona and dearly loved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Clarence (Sonny), Wallace (Utzy), sisters: Carmen (Hunna), Lydia (Liddy), Lorna, Lucille, Juanita (Red) and Mertyl (Merle).

Clyde’s family would like to thank Tina Beach for being a great friend/business partner and to the staff at the House of the Dove for the wonderful care Clyde received.
