Haire, Mr./Mrs. Herbert R. (Gold - 23 AUG 1966)

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert R. Haire of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) and Minneapolis, Minn., celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, which was August 23, 1966, by two events.

On Sunday, August 21, there was a celebration at the home of their son, James, in Minneapolis, and on Sunday, August 28, an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. in the United Church of Christ at Owen. Decorations for both occasions were in gold and yellow.

Mrs. Haire had a yellow rose with gold leaves and bow corsage, and Mr. Haire a boutonniere. They received many gifts, floral pieces and a purse of money, and were greeted by many friends and relatives from nearby communities, and by their own children and their families – two sons, two daughters, 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

All of the children reside in Minnesota. They are Russel, Minneapolis; James, Edina; Mrs. Audrey Pacholke, Richfield; and Mrs. Edna Mae Rogers, Minneapolis.
