Elsinger, Judy Mae (4 SEP 1971)

Miss Judy Mae Elsinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Elsinger, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), was given in marriage by her father to Jack Edward Mechelke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Mechelke, Route 2, Loyal, at 1:00 p.m. September 4, 1971, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal.

The Rev. Norbert King performed the nuptial ceremony.

The adult choir sang and Kathy McNeely played the organ. Miss Sharon Schoonover sang Ave Maria, accompanied by Gordie Denk.

The bride wore a nylon lace Victorian style wedding gown with a detachable train and empire waist. It had long sleeves, which came to a point at the wrist. She had a nylon ballerina length veil adorned with pearls and petals. Her bouquet contained white carnations, daisy and iceberg mums with ivy foliage.

Miss Karen Elsinger, Loyal, maid of honor, Miss Arlene Mechelke, Loyal, and Miss Shelby Elsinger, Loyal, as bridesmaids, wore identical Elizabethan styled, light blue, empire waist gowns with long puffed sleeves of nylon sheer with light blue veiled headpieces. They carried baskets of white mums and blue carnations.

Others in the wedding party were Alan Miller, Loyal, best man, and Marvin Miller, Loyal and James Mechelke, Loyal, as groomsmen. Ushers were Jerome Elsinger, Spencer, and Jerome Becker, Marshfield.

A reception was held at the home of the groom's parents with a supper at the church parlors. A dance was held at the Silver Dome, Neillsville, with Bill Chambers Orchestra playing.

The bride graduated from Loyal High School and has been employed at Weyerhaeuser Co., Marshfield.

The groom is a 1958 graduate from Loyal High school and is employed as a mechanic for Zupanc Motors, Loyal.

After a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin, the Mechelkes will be at home at Route 1, Loyal.
