Together they farmed in the Town of Frankfort before moving to Abbotsford. Laura was a graduate of Stratford High School and attended Wausau Normal School receiving a degree in teaching. She taught school at the Rusk school in the Town of Frankfort until her marriage.

We would like to thank the Colonial Center for the wonderful care and compassion they showed for Laura the past eight years. It warmed our hearts to hear the staff call her “Grandma” as that was one word she recognized, she knew she was a “Grandma”.
