Mr. Wendell Crothers, Mark Crothers, and Mrs. Merle Bartsch attended the funeral fro Charles Musil at Neillsville last Friday.

Mr. Greg Stark of Edgar and Mr. Dale Evans of Waukesha arrived for a visit with Mark Crothers. They were classmates at KTI the past two years. Greg Stark returned to Edgar Monday, June 23, but Dale Evans remained for a longer visit. He will be joining the Army soon.

With the death of Mrs. Dorothy Haselow of Chili, the area has lost a fine citizen. For many years she was a 4-H leader and a teacher of young people. In the past years she had headed the County Cancer Crusade and served in several other capacities. We shall all miss her greatly.

Members of the York Center United Methodist Church welcomed the Rev. and Mrs. Gene Carlson on Sunday, June 20. We hope their work in our midst will be rewarding.
