Recent guests at the Mrs. J.R. Colby home were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dahl and family, Fort Worth, Texas, Mr. and Mr.s Melvin Olson and son, Viroqua, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Alma Adams, La Crosse.

Glen Doering visited relatives in Tomah, Columbus, Baraboo, Elkhorn, Jefferson, and Janesville, and returned to his home June 23rd.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Young spent Friday and Saturday at Spring Green, where they attended the wedding of their nephew, Cyril Haslow to Karin Neuheisel on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cowles and Mrs. John S. Bannach spent Sunday in Rhinelander at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Shefchik.

Those who have visited at the Leonard Noeldner home recently are Mrs. Barry Johnson and children, Luke and Shalom of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Eric Ursin, Wausau; Terry Halfen of Chippewa and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Halfen and son Mark of Waupaca.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nysted visited relatives in Colfax during the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Zimmerman, Ricky, and Tim returned home Friday afternoon from a three-week trip through the West. Some of the places of interest they saw were Glacier National Park, Montana; Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada; Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona; the four corners (where Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona come together); Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado, and also the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, and through many national forests.

On the way they visited Mr. and Mrs. Roy Schultz, Bemidji, Minnesota; Mr. and Mrs. Jim C. Normington Coeur D' Alene, Idaho; Mrs. Agnes Scheer at Vancouver, Washington; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Goehring and Susan, North Bend, Oregon, and with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Welsh at Las Vegas, Nevada.

Also at Boise, Idaho, they visited with Melvin Schultz, an uncle of Mrs. Zimmerman's whom she had not seen for 35 years.

They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Krohn, Joliet, Illinois, and Mrs. Carolyn Stasinopocelos, Milwaukee. Mrs. Lorinda Schultz returned home with them, after spending two weeks in Milwaukee with and visiting other friends and relatives.

Jim Larson, Peoria, Illinois, is visiting at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. R.E. Larson.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson, Gretchen and Steven, Minneapolis, spent he weekend camping the William Essex family at Chippewa Falls.

Mrs. Alfred (Alice0 haas and Allen, Seattle, Washington, recently visited at the homes of her brothers, Jerome and Pat Bertz. They also visited at the homes of Mrs. Florence Haas, Mrs. Florence Bertz, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bertz, and with other relatives and friends in Loyal.

Mr. and Mrs. Casper Lindner, Mrs. Ollie Klinke, Greenwood, and Mrs. Amelia Braun spent the weekend visiting in Casanovia.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schmidt and family, Milton Junction, Mr. and Mrs. George Schmidt, and daughters, Janesville, spent the weekend visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Schmidt. On Saturday they attended the Schoengarth-Becker wedding at Neillsville.

Robert Rueth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Rueth, arrived on Thursday to spend a 32-day leave visiting at his parent's home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Clouse spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe, Humbird.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Davel and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Myre attended the Wisconsin Bankers Association meeting in Milwaukee last week. When they returned, Brian and Kelly Maki returned to spend a few days at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Davel. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Maki, West Allis, spent the weekend at the Davel home and the children returned home with them.
