Hewett (27 Mar 1919)

Bill Goldamer, who has lived on the Marvin farm the past year, has moved to Neillsville and Clarence Marvin of Mather, Wis., has moved on the farm. We extend a warm welcome to Mr. and Mrs. Marvin and family.

The Bruny sale will be held tomorrow (Monday) and Mr. and Mrs. Bruny and two children leave the middle of the week for Monroe, Wis. This community loses one of its best families when the Bruny’s move away and they leave many friends here who will miss them very much, but wish them an easier life and success in their new home. Mr. and Mrs. Bruny moved here from Monroe 18 or 20 years ago.

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Collins has been quite sick the past week. Dr. Matheson is attending him.
Miss Cosmosky gave a quilting party for her school Friday afternoon. The scholars had pieced a quilt for the Belgians, and Mrs. H. Albrecht, Mrs. Arthur Van Essen, Mrs. H.B. Parker and Mrs. E.R Moffatt went up and helped finish the quilt.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Van Essen will move onto the Jacques farm, lately vacated by Gottlieb Bruny.
