Sandley, Frank A. (11 MAR 1899 – 17 JAN 1971)

Services were held on January 21, 1971 at Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby for Frank Andrew Sandley, 71, of Spencer. The Rev. Bernie A. Scott, pastor of the Spencer and Colby Methodist Churches, officiated. Pallbearers were Lois Hartl, Gerald Kops, Francis Hebert, Ray Binning, Edwin Strade, and William Haas Jr. Burial was made in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Sandley was born March 11, 1899, at Mineral Point, and was married December 20, 1906 (? Can't be if he was born in 1899), to Millie De Voie, who preceded him in death in 1965. The couple lived in Cadott until 1946, when they came to Marathon County, township of Brighton. He came to Spencer in 1966.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Margaret) Watzke, Waunakee, and Mrs. John (Gloria) Lima, Seattle, Washington; five sons, Victor and Harold, Spencer, La Vern, address unknown; Odell, Rockford, Illinois, and Theodore, Beaver Dam; 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Sandley, Browntown, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Ruth Fritz, Freeport, Ill.

He was preceded in death by a daughter.
