Mlada, Margaret (4 JUN 1961)

On a wedding trip through Northern Wisconsin and Canada are the former Miss Margaret Mlada and Richard Polansky, who repeated their marriage pledges after the Rev. E. Duane Hulse in First Methodist Church, Wis. Rapids, at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, June 4, 1961.

The bride, a teacher at Ann Mary Pitsch School, is the daughter of Mrs. Eugene Mlada, Marshfield. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Carl Polansky, 141 8th St. S., Wis. Rapids.

With Mrs. Earl Otto, at the organ, Mrs. Austin Mlada, Hales Corners, sang "Wedding Benediction" and "The Lord's Prayer."

Nylon pleating and rose appliques bordered the modest scoop neckline of the bride's gown of white nylon chiffon over taffeta. The pleating and appliques were repeated on tiers down the center front of the skirt with side drapes that were caught at the center back with two large material roses. An opern crown cap of matching material held a band of orange blossoms and the ballerina length veil of French Illusion. Her bouquet of stephanotis and ivy was center by a cymbidium orchid.

Austin Mlada escorted his sister to the altar and gave her in marriage.

Her two attendants were Mrs. Elton Polansky and Mrs. Carl Polansky Jr. Variegated pink Schiffli embroidered trimmed the bodice and skirt front of their ballerina length gowns of white nylon organza. A pink taffeta cummerbund held matching skirt length panels and extended down the center back. Headpieces were of lace and pink garnet roses. The old fashioned nosegays they carried were of white carnations and pink garnet roses.

Elton Polansky served as best man with Carl Polansky Jr. as groomsman, the latter ushering with David Polansky and Austin Mlada.

A reception followed the ceremony in the church hall and the wedding dinner for 250 guests were served at Hotel Mead.

Mr. Polansky is employed at Polansky's Inc., Wis. Rapids. Mrs. Polansky attended Macalester College, St. Paul, and Wisconsin State College, Stevens Point, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree.
