David A. Larson, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis W. Larson, Route 2, Loyal (Clark
Co.), Wisconsin, recently was promoted to Army Sergeant near Long Binh, Vietnam,
while serving with the 71st transportation battalion.
Sgt. Larson, a documentation clerk in the battalion’s 154th transportation
company, entered the Army in September 1969, completed basic training at Fort
Bragg, North Carolina, and was last stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
He was graduated from Loyal High School in 1967.
