The combined reunion of the classes of 1949 and 1950 of the former Unity High
School was held Saturday night at the Redwood Club, Unity. Tom Loughead acted as
master of ceremonies.
Those attending were Paul Miller, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson and Mr. and
Mrs. Floyd Johnson, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Arlene Tennis) Oudenhagen,
Kimberly; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Loughead, Fort Atkinson; Mrs. Melvin (Donna Baumgart)
Lindau, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Birkett (Verna Zarnke) Greenwood; Mr.
and Mrs. Kenneth Jicinsky and Mr. and Mrs. Elroy (Eunice Schultz) Luepke,
Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Juanita Molle) Boyer and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald
(Evelyn Knuf) Kops, Unity.
Honored guests were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson, Milwaukee, former principal.
Letters were read from those unable to attend.
Prizes were awarded to Paul Miller for coming the greatest distance and the
least hair; Kenneth Jicinsky, the largest family; Mrs. Wayne Birkett, and for
the first married; Tom Loughead for the most recent baby; Lyle Johnson for the
first reservation, and Floyd Johnson for the most recently married.
