On Memorial Day, May 30, 1959, members of the graduating class of 1909 held their 50th reunion at the Grace Methodist Church here (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.). A potluck lunch was enjoyed at noon and the afternoon was spent in taking pictures and reminiscing. The class had 12 members and 7 were present.

They were Mrs. Morris (Julia Johnson) Anderson and her husband, Stevens Point; Mrs. George (Velma Hartson) Jardine and her husband, New Virginia, Iowa; Forest Varney and wife, recently of Greece; Mrs. Beatrice (Howard) Reiger, Chicago; Mrs. Edgar (Eloda Stabnow) Opdycke and husband, Greenwood; Mrs. Elmer (Floy Sloniker) Horn, Chili; Mrs. Jim (Vera Ferneau) Norris and her husband and son, Norman, Wabeno.

Three members unable to be present were Mrs. Melvin (Estella Masters) Erickson, Withee; Arthur Haglund and Mrs. Louis (Mary Chamberlain) Furney, Marengo, Iowa.

Mrs. Jardine and Mrs. MOrris were the only two who were classmates the whole 12 years. The 1909 class was the 12th class to graduate.

The seven members and their wives and husbands attended the Alumni Banquet together and spent a most enjoyable evening.

Two members of the class has passed away, Mrs. George (Cynthia Varney) Einfeldt and Floyd Snyder.
