West Eaton (16 Jan 1919)

John Abel has been very sick again.

Bernice and Gertrude Davey spent Sunday afternoon with the Gemmeke and Bostwick families.

John Davey spent Sunday with Lyle Bostwick.

Harry Tupper was up from Sheboygan looking after his farm and spending a few days with old friends. He spent Tuesday with the Bostwick family.

The Podobnik family are all sick with the flu.

Mr. Lakotick is still quite bad as a result of an attack of the flu.

Geo. Gemmeke and A. Davey and Mr. Oznick all attended the Hewett sale Tuesday.

Lyle Bostwick was a Willard caller Tuesday.

The Davey family spent New Year’s Day and evening with the Borgers family.

Geo. Gemmeke and A. Davey each bought a load of oats at the Hewett sale.

Mr. Pieuk lost a good horse one day last week.

Lyle Bostwick delivered some pigs to Stanton for Mrs. Lakotick Friday.

Mr. Arch was a caller at the Murlak home Thursday morning.

Norton Borgers has made up his mind to spend the winter with his parents.

Miss Iva Goss and Jason Bostwick spent Sunday with the Bostwick family.

Mrs. Podobnick is still very sick with the flu. We hope for a speedy recovery.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Bostwick were business callers at Neillsville Thursday.

H. Bostwick visited the school Friday.

The Watkins man was a caller in our vicinity Friday.

George Gemmeke is hauling rock for a new barn, which he is planning to build in the spring.

Lyle Bostwick has been sick for a few days with a cold.
