York Center (5 Dec 1918)

Last Week
Mrs. Elsya Rowe entertained the Ladies Aid at her home last Wednesday. There was a good crowd and the amount realized was something over $3.00.

Harry Hales came up from Madison last Friday and gave his parents a call.

Ernest Rowe’s friends and neighbors gave him a wood bee last Tuesday.

Grant Turner went to Stratford last Friday to work in the woods for the R. Connor Co.

Clarence Van de Berg met with a misfortune the other day by having a log roll onto him. His legs were injured so he has to walk with the aid of crutches.
