Buss, Delhart "Charlie" C. (3 JAN 1947 - 15 FEB 2016)

Delhart "Charlie" C. Buss, age 69, of Park Falls, formerly of Curtiss, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held in the spring. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.

Delhart was born on January 3, 1947 in Stanley, the son of Henry and Gertrude (Stock) Buss.

He graduated from Owen-Withee High School in 1965 and received a B.S. degree in Business from UW-Stevens Point in 1969.

Delhart served in the U. S. Army stationed in Okinawa, Japan from 1969-71. He worked for Marquip Manufacturing in Phillips for 20 years and Birchland Realty in Park Falls for the past 20 years, retiring in 2015.

Delhart enjoyed all his free time at the family cabin where he loved to hunt and fish.

Delhart is survived by his two brothers: Albert Buss of Owen and Myron (Ruth) Buss of Curtiss; two nephews and a niece: Lynn (Nicole) Shattuck, Michael (Shelly) Buss and Michelle (Ryan) Cook; seven great-nieces and great-nephews: Holly, Britney, Morgan, Kiefer, Henry, Dharma and Eli.

He is further survived by three aunts: Violet Engel of Withee, Elda Burtard of Abbotsford and Linda Hill of Marshfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
