Turnquist, Mr./Mrs. Adolph (55th – 3 JUN 1958)

Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Turnquist observed their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary June 3, 1958.

On June 2, 1903 Adolph Turnquist and Julia Hendrickson were united in marriage at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Hendrickson, in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), by Rev. (??).

Mr. Turnquist was born in Sweden on June 13, 1872, and came to America when he was 19 years old. Mrs. Turnquist was born at Greenwood on February 19, 1881, and has spent all her life in this community.

They still live on the farm 3 1/2 miles northeast of Greenwood, where they have resided the past forty-six years.

They have four daughters, Mrs. Erick (Helen) Axelson, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Paul (Vera) Tell, Palatine, Ill.; Mrs. Jerome (Ruth) Bertz, Loyal; and Mrs. John (Verdelle) Felix, Greenwood. They also have five grandchildren, William and Paula Tell, and Douglas, Bruce and James Felix.
